Two kinds of data
Account and website data. Information you give us directly, such as your name, work email and company when you sign up or contact us. For this data we decide how it is used.
Feedback data. Reviews, tickets, survey answers, social posts and chat text that you connect to Tellusglint. This data belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service to you and on your instructions.
What we collect
- Details you submit in the signup and contact forms: name, work email, company, role, company size, feedback volume and the sources you plan to connect.
- Account activity inside the product, such as sign-ins, source connections, theme edits and exports.
- Feedback content and its metadata from sources you connect, including ratings, dates, channel and any customer fields those tools provide.
- Basic technical data needed to run the website securely, such as IP address and browser type in server logs.
How we use it
- To create your account and send your login credentials.
- To collect, cluster, score and report on the feedback you connect.
- To send the digests and alerts you configure.
- To reply to your messages and provide support.
- To keep the service secure and to prevent abuse of our forms.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data or feedback data.
- We do not use your feedback data to build products for other customers.
- We do not contact your end customers.
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this website.
Personal details inside feedback
Feedback text sometimes contains email addresses, phone numbers or order numbers. Tellusglint masks common personal identifiers before comments are displayed on boards or in digests. Masking is automated and may not catch every case, so we recommend limiting connected fields to those you need.
Retention
Feedback data and theme history are kept for the retention period of your plan, described on the Data & Security page. Account data is kept while your account is active and for a limited time afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. When you delete a source or workspace, the related data is removed from active systems within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time through the contact page. Workspace admins can export or delete feedback data directly from the product. If you are an end customer whose feedback was connected by one of our customers, please contact that company first, as they control that data.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access inside a workspace is controlled by roles. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected account holders without undue delay if a breach affects their data.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify account holders by email before they take effect.
